Set in the beautfiul countryside around Brentwood with truly spectacular grounds and the original buildings dating back hundreds of years, Ashwells is the perfect venue for hosting corporate events and important family occasions. Our restaurant concentrates on menus and dishes that are individual, with the emphasis more on relaxed dining and food that is cooked to tempt your palette. The dining area is intimate and we can cater all manner of parties, whether it is dinner for 2 or a larger party celebrating a special occasion. Award winning dining usually comes at a premium, but at the Ashwells Restaurant we recognise that good food can come at a good price. With an extensive wine cellar able to provide the perfect accompaniment to your meal we ensure that you can have a truly relaxing and enjoyable night out.

Health and Fitness

Your wellbeing is our wellbeing. The key to a long life is being able to promote a healthy lifestyle, with exercise and relaxation is equal measure. Ashwells Gym and Fitness has long recognised this and we offer beauty treatments, a spa and swimming pool for relaxation and fitness as well as an extremely well-equipped gym and facilities for a wide range of racquet sports and football. On the premises there is also a sports injury centre.

The health and fitness theme even extends to our bar menu where a variety of healthy and tasty dishes are being served most lunchtimes. The bar area is the perfect place to cool down and relax after your workout.

A Special Occasion

With its stunning architecture and picturesque grounds Ashwells as a venue for your occasion, whatever it may be, makes the perfect choice. However many guests you are expecting, our catering staff can accommodate you all in comfort and with a sense of occasion to match. We also appreciate certain occasions require a more delicate touch and an experienced hand in organising the arrangements. Ashwells have hosted and organised all types of functions for both joyous and solemn occasions and our friendly staff will be happy to assist you in whatever manner you need. Facilities for Conferencing and Business

Sometimes the best place to build team spirit is away from the office, in a relaxing environment free from the day to day stress. Whether it is a conference venue or a team building exercise Ashwells Corporate Hospitality has the know-how and experience to help you make the day rewarding and productive. For over 10 years we have been hosting business conferences and seminars in one of our function rooms, providing catering facilities as well as being able to take care of the little touches that can make your conference run as smoothly as possible. Projector screens and other equipment is also available should you need it.

We can also help you with any team building you are organising. We recognise that team building is an important part of helping people integrate and can host a wide variety of activities outdoors that have proven to be very successful and popular. With the bar area, function rooms and grounds offering places to relax and reflect we feel that Ashwells Corporate Hospitality can offer you everything you need to make your day a qualified success.

Bereavements and Wakes

We all know that losing a loved one makes for a difficult time. Ashwells understands what strain a bereavement can have on loved ones so we offer our facilities to help friends and families come together and make this difficult time easier. We offer free venue hire (with bar and catering facilities) for up to 300 guests and will do our best to make sure all your individual requirements are carried out.
